Mechtild Widrich is Assistant Professor of Art History at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is the author of Performative Monuments The Rematerialisation of Public Art (Manchester UP, 2014) and co-editor of Presence. A Conversation at Cabaret Voltaire (Sternberg Press, 2016). Mechtild’s research focuses on performance art and its mediation, and on global art geographies.
